Rikayla沃尔顿

Rikayla沃尔顿 excels in her academic pursuits and leadership roles at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. After graduating from Concord High School in Spring 2022, she is on track to earn her associate degree from Rowan-Cabarrus in May 2025. Rikayla’s entrepreneurial spirit and passion for creativity drive her goal of becoming a successful business owner.

During her time at Rowan-Cabarrus, Rikayla uncovered a hidden talent and love for photography. This discovery has inspired her innovative business concept: a unique fusion of a cozy coffee shop and a professional photography studio. Rikayla’s passion for creativity and communication has also led to an opportunity to serve as a work-study student in the Marketing and Communications department on campus. This role has allowed her to gain hands-on experience and further develop her skills in a professional setting.

Rikayla is deeply committed to community service and student advocacy. Recognizing the need for enhanced student engagement beyond academics, she has made it her mission to bridge the gap between student needs and available resources. Her proactive approach demonstrates a mature understanding of her peers’ challenges and a determination to effect positive change.

As the newly elected President of the Student Government Association, Rikayla has elevated her commitment to serving the student body. Her presidency is focused on connecting students with vital resources, fostering a sense of belonging, and empowering her peers to achieve their goals. Rikayla’s leadership style emphasizes inclusivity and active engagement, both on campus and in the broader community.
